Alex Ringler grew up in Tempe, Arizona where he studied dance at Tempe Dance Academy and acting at Valley Youth Theatre and Childsplay Theatre. 


After graduating from Tempe High School, he attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia where he went on to achieve his BFA with Honors.  While in Philly, Alex had the pleasure of dancing with Brian Sander’s JUNK, Koresh Dance Company, and The Pennsylvania Ballet. 


In 2009, Alex made his Broadway debut in the revival of West Side Story (Swing). Other credits include the first national tour of the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line (Greg), the first national tour of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert - The Musical (Ensemble, U/S Adam/Felicia) the 25th Anniversary North American tour of Cats (Alonzo, U/S Munkustrap), and the 50th Anniversary European tour of West Side Story (Action), as well as regional productions of Seussical and Naked Boys Singing


In 2010, Alex became the resident choreographer for D’Angora Entertainment Inc.  Since then, Alex has choreographed and overseen the choreography for the hit Drag review ICONS in both it’s Provincetown and Off-Broadway incarnations, as well as the Off-Broadway revival of Naked Boys Singing currently playing at the Kirk Theatre. 


Alex made his film debut in 2012 in the acclaimed short film Welcome to New York.


Currently, Alex can be seen in Pageant: The Musical at Red Lacquer in New York City.
